School Insect ProjectsMany students have visited insects4sale.com for help with their school project insect collection. I am happy to help. Of course the more time I have to get the order to you the better. I realize that life does not always work out that way, so I also offer overnight delivery if the order is in by noon Monday through Friday. The charge for overnight service is FedEx's overnight charge plus $20 to insects4sale.com. How to Order for Student Projects:The quickest and easiest way to order is directly
off the website. Starting at the
Dried Insect Specimens link
in the horizontal black navigation bar at the top of each page, links
are organized alphabetically from Class through Order and Family to
species and Common name. Click on the camera icon*,
Another way to place your order for your school project collection is to email me at paul@insects4sale.com and explain to me the parameters of your project. For Example: "I need 18 different insects native to North Carolina and representing 9 different orders" Another example would be "I need 75 different insects representing 50 different families, with no more than 2 specimens per family.. Included in the 75 insects I would like to have a Luna Moth, a Robber Fly, and a Termite." Ordering your school insect collection via email allows me to insure that the insects selected are in stock and meet the parameters of your school project completely. The easiest way for the entomologically challenged is to purchase Insects-2-Go. These dried insect specimens are pre-selected, boxed and ready to ship at a moments notice. At the Home page just click on Insects-2 Go!, select your option and click . How will my insects arrive:In most cases, your insects will be shipped to you USPS Priority Mail. Each insect will be enclosed in its own triangular shaped data envelope (pictured below) with the scientific collection data printed on it. Some insects are in glass screw top vials of 70% ethanol solution as indicated. Your insects will not be pinned or mounted. For information on how to pin and mount your insects refer to website www.BugCollectors.com. Insects are stored in data envelopes like these. *This link takes you to BugGuide.net.
